The Brentford-Liverpool game ended 0-0, which was another unnecessary draw. Then, in the final moments, the controversial Nunez scored two goals in two minutes, earning every penny of his £64 million transfer fee. Those were two vital goals in pursuit of the title. Arsenal only made a draw. Liverpool is six points clear at the top and has a game in hand.

Flipping Heck Tucker, this season is ruddy exciting and throwing up some right surprises. When I saw that Liverpool result I knew Wallace would be ‘over the moon’ ad they say, lol
Watched Palace match, was a stroll though the park, West Ham were diabolically poor and Mr Potter has a lot of work to do to sort out that shambles. A few weeks ago we were in the relegation zone now up to 12th and above Spuds and Manure. Good to see Kamada finally settling in and playing some blinding football. Onward and upwards and hopefully a decent cup run.

That’s how you win leagues.
Nunez is hit-and-miss to say the least but he can get it right on occasion.
Arsenal weak. Chelsea in free fall.
Liverpool odds-on for good reason.

I'm seeing another double.
Fighto!
Give Liverpool the trophy now. It will take a near miracle to beat them from here.
Legendary Slot should have been appointed two years ago. He is far superior to former manager Klopp, who was a good, busy coach, but has not been able to secure employment since leaving Anfield. Liverpool missed out on silverware for the past two years.

I disagree with all of your comments and question how much you know about the team and fans. Klopp is a KOP god and one of the best managers of the club.
He won every trophy except the Europa League which we were not in. He built a great team but also some dupes like Keita.
He gave his all to the fans, the club, and the city.
Slot inherited a very good Klopp team. Yes, it's surprising just how good he has performed so far. Much more than we expected.
Klopp intended to take a rest from Liverpool and build a new house in Spain. He is widely regarded as one of the best football managers in the world.
Since 1 January 2025, Klopp has been the Head of Global Soccer for Red Bull GmbH.
Klopp won the League Cup in his final season.
One Premier League title, one Champions League crown, an FA Cup, two EFL Cups, the Community Shield, a UEFA Super Cup, and a Fifa Club World Cup.May 20, 2024.
Please do not insult one of our great managers who will always be welcome in Liverpool.
Fighto!
@ Wallace - I always agree with pretty much everything you always say about the Reds. Klopp is a Kop legend, but he probably underachieved in his last 2 years. Just my opinion, but I admit you've been a supporter decades more than me.
The League Cup is good, but not exactly the Premier League, FA, nor Champions League.
That was not my intention at all. Klopp is a true legend. But in my mind he went for two seasons too long. Again, just my opinion.

Klopp was the first and only manager to win the league title in the Premier League. Unfortunately, it was 2019/20 when the covid pandemic was happening and clubs were playing without fans.
We want to win it this season so we can celebrate and if Slot can achieve that in his first season will be a wonder.

Flying Dutchman Justin Kluivert is dreaming big. Hats off to the scorer of 2 hat-tricks against 2 formidable EPL opponents in quick time.
