Well done. Ghana today, Zimbabwe tomorrow. Going up in the world.
Fighto!
Very solid and professional performance from Moriyasu-Japan against a very physical side in fellow Qatar finalists The Black Stars. Really pleasing to see one of Samurai-Blue's live wires - Daizen Maeda - net his first goal for Japan, as well as Real Madrid's starlet Takefusa Kubo.
South Korea and their gaffer Paulo Bento will be licking their lips at their match up with The Black Stars in Qatar. The Taegeuk Warriors should account for them if their defense is as shaky as last night.

Maybe they can get Madagascar or Tanzania on the schedule....

Fighting a weak opponent ranked 60th in FIFA does not not strengthen the team. It was too overwhelming and boring.

Yes, the Japanese team seems to be on good condition, but winning over Ghana is not exactly something extraordinary nor something to brag too much about. Moriyasu is making a trend of exaggerated declarations about the team, I hope this will not come back to bite him later.

Samurai Blue have the potential to go far in Qatar. All the best to footballers and fans from the Land of the Rising Sun.

Against Germany and Spain? Can I get whatever it is you are smoking?

Japan is improving match after match but they are in a difficult group. Germany and Spain qualify from that group Sorry Japan.
