Bolt is great, no doubt, but I'm a big fan of Jesse Owens. He overcame real hardships, secured 4 gold medals, 3 of which were new world records and the 4th was a tie for the world record - and he did it all within 45 minutes.

And he snubbed Hitler. Not many people have a resume like him!
