Are you serious? It is mentioned in the 2nd paragraph, and in today's world it's not all that hard to take a stab at just what "racial term" he was called.

I understand it was a Portuguese word, and there is some debate over whether it is racist or not. Its literal translation into English may appear racist, but I've read it's used widely in Brazil to refer to all kinds of people. Are there any Brazilians around that can clarify?
