Lions savage Sunwolves 94-7 in Super Rugby

Not in the same league.

Sunwolves skipper and former Lions loose forward Willie Britz said woeful tackling -- they missed 53 of 108 attempts -- contributed heavily to the crushing defeat.

Something needs to be done. 50% missed tackles is not down to skills but attitude. I think many foreign players (and possibly coaches?) see J rugby as a stress-free, very cushy environment (with big $ to be earned). Not saying they don't train hard, they certainly do, but I don't think they all give 100% week in week out in key areas such as tackling, ruck clean out etc.

Players and coaching staff, J & foreign, have to be held accountable for their results. This is embarrassing.

Ouch! Well, Japan wanted records in rugby, they got it! Worst loss of the season, following the second worst loss (also Japan), and nearly the biggest margin of all time. Come on, Japan! Get in or get out.
