Brilliant performance from the Reds! That's the Liverpool from the we all know and love - and the Man U we know also! The Kop will be singing about this win for the next 100 years! Where has this form been all season?

Big up to little Mo Salah becoming Liverpool's EPL scoring GOAT. Keep up this form and there will be Europe for Liverpool next season - and not for Man U!

Liverpool 7 Man U 0.

Lol.

Another winnable game for Everton ends up a draw. This is getting very concerning…

Manchester United had been grinding out results this year and many people thought that they have turned a corner under Ten Hag! In reality they had been playing quite badly but just were lucky to get results until now. Nothing has changed in a positive way at Manchester United for the past few years! If they keep playing like this then they’ll not only drop out of the top 4 but miss out on Europa league ( since the winner of this second grade cup get into champions league )!

Horrible teams the pair of them

Scousers slaughtered Manure and made them look like a pub team at times. Very entertaining for the neutral and double plus exciting.

Just watched the highlights on MOTD2, what a performance. Absolutely destroyed them.

Now only 3 points off fourth and starting to find the old form.

Things are looking good for the Reds to dominate the league next season. A few new bodies in midfield and defense would help. The fire-power is certainly there!

Back to square one for Man U.

Horrible teams the pair of them

Maybe mostly disliked because they have been so successful.

Lots of people jumping on the bandwagons but they have proper fans.

Watching Man U get thrashed is one of the joys of English football. A pity you can’t enjoy it.

So who says Liverpool isn't the greatest? I didn't even think we were going to win but 7-0 goes down in history as one of Man U's greatest defeats.

The last time was in 1895 when Liverpool won 7-1 and they were both in division two.

YNWA.

How for the replay.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

This 7-0 demolition, this 7-0 humiliation, was the worst defeat United had ever suffered. They had lost 7-0 to Wolves in December 1931, 7-0 to Aston Villa in December 1930 and 7-0 to Blackburn Rovers in April 1926. But none of those defeats came against Liverpool. And losing 7-0 to Liverpool makes this worse. A lot worse.

Reality check…; well done, Liverpool(!)

Wow complete collapse in the second half. These games happen from time to time, no matter how good your team is or what form you've recently been in, so not going to read too much into it. Liverpool had a very similar collapse just two weeks ago at the hands of Real Madrid, in Liverpool too, leading 2-0 and then ultimately losing 5-2. Man U 's goal this season was a top 4 finish, so far that's still very achievable and if we can get anything else on top of that, like the EFL trophy we just won, then it's a bonus. We got beat bad, now on to the next game, focus!

No, it isn't a pity. Proper fans? Yeah right.

Just because you enjoy it, doesn't mean others have to.

You're an Everton fan, no? Seems a bit weird for a toffee to enjoy Liverpool winning 7-0.

I hate both.

Man U had to sneak home back up the East Lancs Rd under the cover of darkness without a single fan waiting at their stadium to greet them.

You're an Everton fan, no? Seems a bit weird for a toffee to enjoy Liverpool winning 7-0.

Except it is not when they are born in the same city.

I hate both.

So which is your team?

I’m a Scouser. I’d like to see Everton better than Liverpool but Liverpool second.

Good for the city.

Proper fans? Yeah right.

Many proper fans and many bandwagon jumpers. The latter we can dismiss but don’t think there aren’t real supporters of these sides.

There are.

Man U fans hanging their heads in deep shame.

Ex-Man Utd captain Neville slams Fernandes: You are a DISGRACE

He should have been sent off.

Real supporters and fans stay with their clubs through thick and thin and never change sides. I have supported my team for more than 65 years when they were in the second division.

If you don't like a team(s) then don't watch.

Zizi

Horrible teams the pair of them

How much of the game did you watch?

They are both the best two clubs in the history of English football. No other club even comes close.

If you don't like a team(s) then don't watch.

Oh, that old chestnut.

I didn't watch, but it's hard to escape the media frenzy and irritating supporters of both clubs on sites like Twitter.

I've never met an Everton fan with anything good to say about Liverpool. Or victims FC as many know them as.

I have and I’d put my house on knowing far more Everton supporters than you. There are some on both sides who’d like to see the other relegated. I find this stupid. Many of the most bitter ones I’ve met are not actually from Liverpool - Ormskirk and the like.

I also like to see other local-ish teams do well. Marine and Tranmere Rovers.

My family is both Liverpool and Everton supporters. Very common in the city. We have nothing but good words and support except for the derbys.

The article is about Liverpool and Man U.

Loved watching Gary Neville & Fergie squirming in their seats

I had to check it wasn't April 1st on the calendar when I saw the result

Lots of haters here.

Klopp has won every trophy available since he has been the manager. How he has a great record that won't be broken for many years to come. 7-0.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Blowout!

Mo Salah is a legend. There is lot more vintage football yet to come from the boots of the supremely gifted Pharaoh. Well played Liverpool FC. Man Utd is a work in progress. All the best to Erik ten Hag and his footballers.

Klopp has won every trophy available since he has been the manager.

Hasn't won the Europa League yet. Hopefully he won't get the chance to.

The Champion League outplays the Europa Cuo.

The Champion League outplays the Europa Cuo.

No doubt. I was just pointing out that he hasn't won every trophy that he has comepeted for 'coz I'm a footballing pedant.

I did actually say "every trophy available". The Europa Cup wasn't available. I'm a footballing pedant too.

It was. We got beat by Sevilla in the final in his first season.

yes sorry, you are correct. 3-1.

My family is all Crystal Palace supporters, where never knew anything.

Cant imagine the feeling if we ever did, it would be very queer

Why is no one is talking about the achievements of Johnson and Forest?

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

FFS

An uncle who lived in CP is a big supporter even though he now lives in Mildenhall. We don't have a problem being both Everton and Liverpool supporters.

As a Scouser I still can't believe it lol

Wow - 40 comments!

Liverpool's famous 7-0 thrashing of hapless ManU is the biggest story in world soccer since the World Cup!

1 ( +2 / -1 )

We will relive this one for decades.

Why is no one is talking about the achievements of Johnson and Forest?

You must know! A 2-2 bottom of the table clash doesn't really compete with a 7-0 drubbing of Utd.

Saw the highlights tho, was a really good game and Johnson's second was lovely.

We will relive this one for decades.

Didn't watch it live but woke up to a phone full of messages from mates who were there and were still absolutely buzzing. One of them went with his young son, who has only seen 2 games; last seasons 5-0 rout at OT and yesterday's 7-0 obliteration. That kid needs a Palace game to sober him up.

In other news, how utterly pathetic was Fernandes in that 2nd half?
