If he didn't take a test that was part of anti-doping, then he should be stripped of any awards since that time and have a ban.
Poor interpretation and other issues at the last minute are simply delay tactics common around the world.
Poor translation isn't the problem of the committee.

I can’t understand why CAS said they couldn’t hire their own translators for reasons of ‘independence and neutrality’??? Are they not the trier of fact here?

The are the "arbiter". Not sure if that is the same thing. It does seem best to let the accused pick their own interpreter/translator.
I guess I missed when this first came up. I hadn't heard of it.
II wonder, if the testers showed up with inadequate identification, why'd he let them take a blood sample in the first place?
