Forest were excellent. Then again, they were playing an absolutely atrocious Everton.

Liverpool powering on. Goals coming in from 5 different players. Gonna take sone stopping on this form.

I’m just on the way home from the capital now after watching us thump West Ham again. Brilliant day!

Did the darts the previous night and the Spurs game last week.

Very satisfying few days.

Crying out for a consistent goalscorer. Been so long since they’ve had one.

Is DCL ever gonna get back to what he was 3-4 years ago?

Wrote him off years ago. Confidence is shot and looks half-arsed.

If anyone offers anything for him, snap their arm off.

Liverpool was all over West Hammered, going top by eight points clear and still with a game in hand. The front three, Salah, Gapko, and Diaz, are better than the previous Salah, Firmino, and Mane. Slot has become a great manager in less than 20 games, an achievement.

We could loan you Nunez for a few months. Get Big Dunc back to put the Dogs of War into him.

I’d have him. At least Nunez’s misses are spectacular. DCL usually side-foots it straight at the keeper. Nunez falls over or twats it into row Z - more entertaining.

Wouldn’t be the worst loan ever.

He needs a solid run of games and the chance to be the main man. And Everton desperately need a bit of fresh blood.

Liverpool's three Christmas games harvested 14 goals.

Man U are up next at Anfield but not like old games.

The Liverpool game was a tour de force. The others were genuinely competitive - really good to watch. Leicester had more of the ball than Man City and Vardy should have netted at least once if not twice. Arsenal are going to miss Saka whilst he is out injured.

Some Forest fans are probably of the "37 points, should be enough to avoid relegation" persuasion. They must be loving it. Mat Sels looked completely hopeless when Rafa bought him years ago for Newcastle. He's not the keeper you'd expect to be part of a super stingy defence. The thought of Nuno finishing above Spurs who sacked him, and Elanga above Man U is pretty tasty. Scotty MacT is joint top of Seria A with Napoli.

Well, it’s a very interesting season so far isn’t it? Who would have expected the table to look like this at the years end.

I watched Palace as usual, wasn’t great but a win is a win.

Espirito Santo is doing wonders at Nottingham Forest. His footballers look good for a berth in European competitions in 2025. All the best.
