It's a great team. But the greatest ever? That point will argued forever.

They are a long way from being the greatest team and have not won enough trophies.

Premier League clubs by trophies won.

English Clubs With Most Trophies:

Liverpool - 69 trophies.

Manchester United - 67 trophies.

Arsenal - 48 trophies.

Chelsea - 34 trophies.

Manchester City - 34 trophies.

Tottenham Hotspur - 26 trophies.

Been very average in terms of European trophies.

Teams of the past were more fun to watch even for non supporters. Liverpool and Leeds especially were great to watch even for the neutrals. It was all much fairer then, took a lot more to be dominant.

Man City is a great team - no-one can deny this. But they certainly do not seem as good as last season's version. Definitely need some strengthening in that squad, because teams like Liverpool and Arsenal will come at them hard next season.

Liverpool's domination in the 1970s and 1980s included 10 league titles in 15 seasons and four European Cups.

Wow. Very hard to ever outdo this feat - but Man City may go close, especially if the proposed limited "salary cap" does not eventuate.
