And the underdogs win the day. What a performance from United! Winning the FA Cup is a perfect way to end this dismal season, but knowing how much it must irk some of you that a "ridiculous" and "unlikeable" club that "deserve a hiding" has bested "England's greatest-ever team" is priceless. Seeing the consternation on Pep's face during the match at being so outplayed was a close second. Also loved seeing Sir Alex beaming and singing in the stands.

Uncharacteristically sloppy defending from City and some misfortune in front of goal combined with the Soccerdevils' overpaid veterans deciding to turn up and play for once cost us another trophy.

Bring on next season!

First-half goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo set up the win.

Excellent win.

Bruno Fernandes lifting the FA Cup sullies the whole tournament. Still, some joy for the Man U supporters on their short tube ride home.

Anyway, City way off their best there. The first goal a shambles. De Bruyne was uncharacteristically poor. Carrying an injury?

Man City did all the work but Man U did the goals.

Erik ten Hag got his tactics spot on and the team stuck to their tasks. An engrossing match and a remarkable result, considering how poor United have been all season. City made errors and were very predictable. They need to be more flexible. A long ball or a shot from distance isn't a sin.

Got that one very wrong.

86,000 at Wembley. Man City and Man U fans fighting outside of the stadium.

More than 86,000 at Wembley for an NFL football game recently.

Man City players have been celebrating their fourth title win all week. Too much alcohol

Dunno about that but they certainly weren’t their usual selves.

Foden another one who had a stinker. He’s been exceptional all season. Arguably the most technically gifted player in the league all over the place with his first touch and passing.

The Flying Dutchman and his forces have halted the onward march of the all conquering Citizens. Hats off to gaffer Erik Ten Hag, Manchester United footballers, and their jubilant fans worldwide.
