For a change I agree with you. It's one of the reasons why in most cases professional players should not be allowed to take part in silly international competitions, with exceptions, of course (ex. Olympics, WC). That's why there were no big guns on the American team, for example -- not worth the contract price for their teams to have them get injured for nationalistic pride. From here on in they should not be allowed to take part, and probably won't.

Wasn't too bad. 8 Ks with just 1 walk. That means he was challenging hitters, but it just so happened that his stuffs weren't good enough that day, giving up 4 runs. He could build on that. That's better than nibbling at the strike zone.
