Ryo Ishikawa did a great job of finishing his back nine. We watched his action from the Pacific Time on Sunday morning/early afternoon, hoping for hims to win for his deserving first win in the US. However, it was not his time. Ryo, keep up with your good work and it will happen for you to enjoy the first win here in the US very soon.

I'm glad to see Ishikawa finished strongly, and have no doubt that there is a PGA title in his future. Coming so close has got to hurt, but he still deserves a congrats.

Needless to say, McNeill deserves a big congrats for the win.

Oh please, spare us the hype..... What next for Ishikawa, the Kandahar Open? Maybe then he might win a torney outside Japan and it sounds on par with the Peurto Rican Open.

From what I can gather about this torney, Ishikawa was beaten by a golfer ranked 126 in the world and closely followed by a golfer ranked 221 in the world.

I'd hardly say that Ishikawa was mixing it with the big boys and his second place is in a mediocre torney is hardly something to write home about. However that don't matter to the domestic press, he's big in Japan.
