Depends if he wants a challenge, a paycheck, or a holiday.

A challenge would be City, a paycheck would be PSG, a holiday would be The U.S.

Messi had been tight lipped about his plans.

Tight lipped and ashen faced, by all accounts.

I'd like to see him at City but with Jack and Harry on the way there's no money left in Pep's piggy bank.

Can he do it on a cold February night at Brentford? It would be fun to see him try....

Preston North End need a striker.

Not many clubs can pay his wages. Fundraiser maybe? Weird for him after 20 years at the club.

Probably PSG. Still too young to retire and could still play decent footie until he's 40.

Everton in need of reinforcements up front.

Preston North End need a striker.

A fine club. It might even get the wife to give more than a half-arsed check of the table every now and again.

I agree that PSG looks the most likely.

I would like to see how he fares in the Premier League though. Would he prefer London?

"Other options include Manchester City at 7/2, or any MLS club at 11/1, while even a return to his homeland with Newell's Old Boys is a staggering 20/1."

They aren't even offering odds of him coming to play in the Japanese League. Well, maybe when he is 40 or so...

Barcelona has been unsustainable for some time. The structural economic consequences have finally come to a head.

Lionel Messi is unlikely reduced to resort to busking in the street.

Lionel Messi is humble guy, the greatest of all time is a myth, until the next.

Hastings United needs inspiration.

A prep talk from the supreme ayatollah of a ball pressurized to a gauge of 600g/cm to 1,100 g/cm (8.5 lbs/in – 15.6 lbs/in).has to be worth a local fish n chip supper?
