Nice move to have this delegation visit the Peace Park, guided by Tuesday night's starter (and Carp alum) Kenta Maeda. A day of austere reflection should psych up this rag tag MLB team to a good game backing Maekun.

Mattingly was my idol as a kid in the 80s, I am so psyched that he is in Japan now.

I watched the "World Series Champion" St. Louis Cardinals play Japanese all stars in the old Hiroshima stadium in 1969 so this isn't the first time MLB has been there.
