Hamilton's on-board monitors showed he had not slowed down, and the lead car is allowed to back up the field until the safety car has gone in. Vettel would have done the same. Vettel was mainly angry at himself.

The penalty was not for running into the back of Hamilton, but for moving alongside and sideswiping him. He also lost 3 points off his super license.

By all accounts a very exciting race, which Hamilton would probably have hands-down won if his neck rest had not worked loose.

Congratulations to the podium boys.

Seb was an idiot for what he did. He got the penalty he deserved. Hamilton, the telemetry shows, did not brake check Vettel. As the lead car he is indeed allowed to back up the field. However, I have no doubt that his slowing down, coming out of the exit of a 90 degree turn, was a deliberate action. He is being such a whiny little git about this whole thing.
