I saw that yesterday. She was phantastic.

Murakami looked great, but Alena Leonova was really good. It will be hard for Murakami to beat her, and even harder for Mao, if Leonova skates the same in the final.

The top 5 all looked really good, but Asada, Kostner and Suzuki each messed up a jump, so they're slightly behind. It's still an open race.

No chat about the brother and sister team for ice dancing who changed their nationality to be able to skate for Japan?? Not seen as Japanese enough??

OK, tmarie, regarding the Lees, they skate for Japan because they couldn't have made the grade in the States... the speak almost no Japanese, haven't lived here... and freak me out because pair dancing at that age by siblings....is simply freaky stuff...

Oh they freak me out too - not a fan at all. They changed because they couldn't cut it. The US skate association was pissed and with very good reason - wasted money. Kind of glad Japan isn't chatting them up. Traitors. Thing is, they;ve got the blood and not the language. How many have the reverse and get nothing here? Too many!
