If they get a performance boost from said drugs they cannot be allowed to perform. It’s unfortunate for that person, but letting them compete with PEDs in their system is an unfair advantage against all other athletes.

If the athlete can prove the source of their failed blood tests, and show they truly did not know about it, then fairness is that they do not receive a suspension. But they still cannot be allowed to compete while the drugs are still active in their system.

I though Sun Yang was serious doping offender without thinking and checking about what kind of offense he committed when I read about him and the news title with drug cheater on all news paper and online news. A few days ago, I google and read about him in Wikipedia. We should not be called him as drug cheater.

Also, our Aussie girl Shayna Jack was tested positive for Ligandrol, or LGD-4033. The Ligandrol, or LGD-4033 was treatment for Osteoporosis and not marketing yet. It was still under developing by Ligand Pharma.

Trimetazidine medicine can be legally prescription by GP if the patient was needed it. Trimetazidine does not help with muscle mass and strength to user. Trimetazidine has been treated as a drug with a high safety and tolerability profile.

Well, you're right about equal footing, except aside from Sun I don't think any of the above swimmers have been accused of doping, except maybe by people angry Japan is not in the line up of potential people to look out for. I mean, nobody named Junya Koga doped, right? And Hiromasa Fujimori certainly didn't, right? Both came home and THEN complained that they were innocent, much like the Japanese swimmer camera thief after SK.

Impressive that the Hungarian beat Phelps’ record. But Phelps is still the most decorated Olympian of all time so let’s see if he can live up to the pressure.

I recently viewed a mini series on Olympic Champion Marion Jones........ Also a bio on Florence Griffith Joyner tragically shortened life.

I understand mandatory out of season drug testing was introduced in 1989 after Joyner retired. Jones survived, Joyner was not so fortunate although any alleged drug use has never been proven.

I understand what you are saying. Yes it is cheating and they shouldn't be allowed to compete. However, it was on ESPN the other day that the only people that get caught doping are newbies or stupid people. Doping has become easy to hide these days because of all the medical advancements in drugs.

Most doping these days are done through blood transfusions. Many athletes keep their clean blood stored. They then get the substances placed directly into their blood streams. Every few days, weeks, or months these athletes would transfuse their clean blood back in and it would make the drugs undetectable. Furthermore, they would use this to help the body create a new supply of clean blood so they could continue. Also, most drug tests happen close to the competition date. By then, most people that were doping are not doping anymore.

The system has become too easy to hide. Its become impossible to tell clean athletes from dopers. Also, drug companies are consistently creating drugs that are right behind the step of banned substances. So even if the banned substance has the same affect of the new drug, because the new drug hasn't been banned, it is allowed until the committee bans the new drug from the next competition onward.

Sorry swimming, cycling as track and field is tarnished, ruined beyond redemption by a failure of governing bodies to ban the drug cheats for life. Don't bother viewing.

Well, let them all juice out to the max and make the playing field leveled. Let's see which country has the best muscle enhancing drugs on the market today!

It's no longer a battle to see who has the best swimmers, but to see who has the best scientists to create such performance enhancing medicines.

These potential sporting greats are kids when they embark on there careers. And their coaches should be held criminally accountable. That means jail time.
