The Chinese are so clumsy with this kind of thing. They insult your intelligence when they expect that what they are doing is plausible in any way. Threats against the families of people who speak out are used to force them into retracting their accusations and then make them keep silent.

@Burning

One is too many.

Absolute rubbish from the Chinese government. This is NOT proof Peng is safe and well. It is highly staged at best.

And there are still CCP apologists out there stating the Genocide Games should still go ahead. Despicable collaborators.

She is a long past prime tennis player with mental health issues. Not the fault of the Chinese government.

But a great opportunity for the anti China crowd to vent their frustrations that China is so successful.

I'd smile and seem really happy too, if my family where being held until I claimed my statements were false and I showed up in public 1, 50, 500 times seeming to be very happy too.

Let her family leave the country - let her leave the country and then we can ask what happened.

This story is based on false translations by US media, I think the NYTimes. She never accused him of “force”. You’re all being played.

I believed Peng has been detained or sent to re-education camp in somewhere in the Country.

Look how stupid they are, if there weren't human lives being destroyed this would be first grade comedy.

Now look at their military expansion and ask yourself if you really believe they don't have plans to use it.

What on earth was she doing with him in the first place? Isn't there like a MASSIVE age difference and was he married at the time?

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

What right does Chinese state media have to speak for her?

This is but a mere glimpse , a preview of coming events, of what is in store for attractive women of all races and countries when Communist China completes its takeover of the world.

If you want to prove the date, include the front page of that day's newspaper in the video.

Powerful billionaires, A-list celebrities and sports stars have all disappeared in China in recent years.

Alibaba founder Jack Ma

real estate tycoon Ren Zhiqiang

Actress Fan Bingbing

BIllionaire actress & film maker Zhao Wei

And yes, I know they have all reappeared, eventually.

But We can see a pattern here right

The issue here is that it's even happening to a high-profile innocent citizen

If they can even do it to her, they can do it to anyone

You can say that Jack Ma deserves this; Ren Zhigiang deseves this; Fan Bingbing deserves this; heck even say Zhao Wei deserves this

But can anyone say Peng Shuai deserves this?

So why are people accepting this?

A growing chorus of voices in the sports world and beyond -- including the US government and the United Nations -- want to know where and how Peng is.

How about Japan? Do the Japanese care?

And just who believes anything that comes from the mouth of Hu Xijin?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Do person has to be top celebrity to be taken care by the global? What about the rest of the common public and so called human rights?
