Sorry you have me confused with someone else. Enjoy your 4 years All Blacks

Christopher Glen...Wasn't it you that said the same thing after the last World Cup ;-)

Nope, sorry, wallabies will come back stronger in 2019. The best is yet to come

@Yesterday. How about the Wallabies' disallowed try against Scotland, or a number of dodgy penalties Scotland got. Scotland came close because a, they played well, and b, the wallabies had an off day. In the semis they beat Argentina convincingly - so they were in the finals because they deserved to be there. I'm sensing sour grapes. Mourning England's loss? Well done to the All Blacks, but 2019 will be ours

Nope - sorry. ABs have too much depth. Even when the greats depart there will only be a slight disruption. ABs dominance will continue. They might not win every world cup, but their winning record and world ranking will remain for a long time to come.

Was getting excited when the Wallabies got closer but the AB's deserved winners, too good.

As a Crsuaders fan I will miss Dan & Richie.

Well done NZ! No other team could get away with a 5-metre forward pass and a spear tackle and get away with it! Thanks Nigel!

I sense some sour grapes... and a short memory.

They didn't get away with the spear tackle. Ben Smith got sin binned and there was a penalty. Anyway he lifted the dude's leg... he didn't pick him up and drive him into the ground head first... that's a spear tackle.

The forward pass... maybe so... but some of us still remember the forward pass that secured France their victory over NZ in the 2007 cup. So... they are not the only team to get away with it. How about Australia getting away with a penalty (that shouldn't have been) in the dying minutes against Scotland? Maybe Oz should consider themselves lucky to have made the final??

Regardless of the above... the 2 best teams were in the final... and the best team won. Well done.

Interesting that. Considering the All Blacks played South Africa in the semis, I guess they had a little more in the tank.

It appeared the Wallabies--from seeing the Final live on NBC here in the USA--played a hard game but just "ran out of petrol" at the very end.

Well done All Blacks. Totally shattered. But one day I will be there to see you fall

Well done, Kiwis. The gap between them and the rest of the world is huge, it has to be said. I think we in Australia need to purchase more Kiwis and Polynesians for our team to win the next cup.

The most "Dominate" national team in the history of international sport / unequaled respect

That was a fantastic match, and as an ABs fan, far easier to watch than 4 years ago. After the award ceremony there was a great clip promoting Japan 2019, featuring lots of beautiful shots of cherry blossoms, Fuji, and Japan's victory over South Africa. It has really whet the appetite for the next tournament, and I hope that Japan can keep building on this year's success and get lots of tournament hype, to make it a truly fantastic sporting event, as is the norm with the RWC.

The greatest sporting team in the history of all sports - well done

It's possible, but it's arguable. Certainly with their won rate of over 70% for a 150 year period there aren't many teams that can come close. Anyway... Second won by the boys in black. All three tries were awesome.. . bit of a black spot on Ben Smith but he was deservedly punished. Kepu was very lucky to only have penalties awarded against him. No big deal though. Fantastic game that was at times quite nerve wracking.

sweet as bro.

The Wallabies came right back into it for a patch there, but they were never going to win that game. Great work from Dan Carter in particular to close that game out.

Kawaii.

Deserved winners. No arguments. Well done.

Well done to the All Blacks. Nice gesture by SBW giving his medal to a fan. World Cup's over so I hope he comes back to the NRL.
