It's incredible. A nation with a population of just around 5.5 million inhabitants is regularly appearing in major World Cup events. In rugby, field hockey, cricket, and football - the men from Aotearoa are ever present showcasing their skills. Several Kiwi footballers are gaining experience with football teams in the Global North and in Australia. NZ's Wellington Phoenix and Auckland FC play in the Australian A-League. In 2026 WC, NZ will be a side to watch. All the best.
