Good luck! You're almost there, you can do it!

Awesome result, and again it was his low unforced error count that probably gave him the edge. Hope he can rest up well because his semi-final match will be the toughest...

From all accounts, it was a phenomenal match. Both players put up a heck of a fight, but Nishikori outlasted Wawrinka in the end. Well done, Kei. You've earned every bit of respect and admiration that's coming your way.

Nishikori is a fighter who never gives up! If memory serves me correct, he has beaten Djokovic (in Shanghai) but not Murray...well, there's always a first for everything. Keep it up Kei!

Well done, Kei! This youngster could go on to dominate world tennis if he notches this Major and stays injury-free. Step aside, Federer, Djokovic, Nadal and co - the Nishikori kid has arrived! They had better have crowd control in place in Shinjuku for early Monday morning because millions will be dancing in the streets if he wins!

Had this on in today my home office here in the states, and Nishikori played a very gutsy match and deserved the win. First off, as stated, he had to play until after 2:00 AM in his previous match on Monday night, so Wawrinka was much fresher. Second, Wawrinka was clearly over-powering Kei in the first set -- as the announcers said Wawrinka's shots just had more weight. But Nishikori did not panic, and instead adjusted his game, especially by coming to the net more frequently, and he took the momentum away. A great match by a courageous player.

Way to go, Kei-san !

Way to go Kei! Best of luck against Djokovic! I bet no one thought they'd ever be seeing a UNIQLO vs UNIQLO semifinal...
