It would be really impressive if he somehow figured out a way to win two MVPs this year.
Given what he's accomplished so far, I'm only half-joking.

I have seen Ohtani play for the Angels, and he is very impressive. There are some players who command one's attention when they are on the field, and he is definitely one of them. I will always remember watching him play.
The last time I saw a pitcher come in as a pinch hitter, before Ohtani, was Don Drysdale.

I think he is the best baseball player ever (I say that as an American), better than Babe Ruth etc. I wish I had seen him play in Sapporo.

The Angels would lose the advantage of pitchers as hitters against NL teams - the NL is now also adopting the DH
So no more pitchers being required to bat in all of MLB

With a healthy Trout back, he might get better pitch selection.
