And, please!...let us all hope with all of our hearts that our wonderful hero does not get a pinched nerve (requiring him to pull out at the last minute); nor a muscle strain; tightness in his lower back; sudden dizziness; muscle strains | Meniscus tears | Hand/Wrist injuries | Elbow tendinitis | Rotator cuff tendinitis

Labial tears | Dead arm | Ulnar collateral ligament (Tommy John) | Oblique strains etc. etc. etc.

Three non-baseball fans with their oh-so-edgy comments. Must be nursing hangovers.

@3RENSHO Ohtani had an operation to his pitching arm a year ago, which is why he did not pitch this season. Not sure why you think that batting in the playoffs puts him at risk of a pitching injury.

I don't really care and it's none of my business

But i care enough to read articles that i know right from the headline that it is something that i don't care about (or even hate) but will still read it anyway and share comments with others who are doing the same thing and talk about how we don't really care about (and hate) what we just read that we all know from the beginning that it is something that we don't care about and hate

I've got time and energy

If the Mets get past the Phils to face the Dodgers in the NLCS (of course, I'm assuming the Dodgers will beat the Padres), it will be awkward at home where my wife will be rooting for the Dodgers, while I root for the Mets.

My big wish is for the Mets and Yankees to face each other in the World Series. But, the Dodgers will be tough to get past to reach that lofty goal.

The wet dream for the MLB and the TV broadcasters is a Dodgers-Yankees series, with the ratings it would bring from the two largest media markets. But, for NY baseball fans, nothing beats a "subway series"!

LGM!

A Subway Series would be awesome!

The guy is phenomenal.

I wonder, how many Japanese nationals will be in the stands? Of course, these days, with high def, wide screen tvs, seeing the games from home is also enjoyable.
