Love the 4th photo. The great thing about sports photos is the ridiculous “poses” people can get snapped in, of course one realizes it is all just a part of a longer fluid motion.

Truly amazing talent. If he keeps this up, he may win both the AL MVP and Cy Young awards.

It is a shame he is not on a better team.

It's the third time this season Ohtani has had double-digit strikeouts and multiple RBIs in a game. The only other pitchers to accomplish that are Atlanta's Kevin Millwood in 1999 and Hal Newhouser with Detroit in 1946.

So let me get this straight. Ohtani has accomplished three times this year what has only been accomplished twice before in major league history? Absolutely amazing.

I read it as the thing being only accomplished two other times was doing it three times in a season.

The man is just fantastic. He literally won the game all by himself.

The Angels need pitching help and better hitting at the bottom of the order or they should trade him to a team that can win (and afford him).

its sad watching a once in a lifetime talent on a mediocre team.

He is indeed amazing, and I'm glad the team is actually backing him up a little and winning, too.

I guess that means that Millwood and Newhouser also had double digit strikeouts and multiple RBIs in a game 3 times in a season each.

Not twice before; but by two other people.

He's the man. Hope he does well in the upcoming All Star Game.

I can only imagine how good Ohtani's numbers would be with a better bullpen behind him (Iglesias is really struggling this season) and some more protection behind him (Trout is once again on the mend and he's the only real threat besides Ohtani). If Ohtani replicates this type of season next year, he's looking at at $50million a year contract. Don't believe me? The Mets shelled out $130 million for 3 seasons of Max Scherzer. Ohtani will be valued higher provided he doesn't get injured.
