Instead of trying to tell us breakdancers are athletes, the ioc should lose restrictions on the football tournament and allow players of all ages to take part-the Olympic tournament has a serious history and legacy..

Cricket will add more to IOC revenue than what it will get from IOC, so am I missing something here.

Will they invite Ukraine and not kill them?

I'd rather see Pickleball than Cricket, but that's because we like games that only last a few hours, not days. 6 hours means there has to be a bunch of toilet breaks for everyone.

With Russia planning to stage a World Friendship Games weeks after the closing ceremony in Paris, ASOIF cautioned its members Monday about their involvement in a potential rival to the Olympics. Moscow and Yekaterinburg are set to host the games in September.

FIFA won't allow that. FIFA only allows football/soccer in the Olympics on the condition that it's for Under-23. Allowing 3 over-age players is the compromise towards the IOC

FIFA won't allow the Olympics to be anywhere near on par with the World Cup and the money it earns there

(The women's tournament is a different matter though, since that's not as lucrative yet.)
