If no one showed up for the Olympics, would it be an Olympics?

Does genocide reflect the values of the IOC?

Economic sanctions and canceling the Olympics its a good start.

I suggest more persuasive measures:

like banning all imports from China, and not letting them use our airspace.

Given how much of a headache Tokyo 2020 has been for Japan, I'm kind of wondering if the real debate should be about whether we should punish China by making it host more rather than fewer Olympics.

If I want a medal, then I also have to accept a brutal video telling the world how happy I am being tourtured, now that's deserves gold.

Agree 100%

Frankly, it won't be happening anywhere.

I said the China Olympics should be cancelled or boycotted a long time ago for the abuses against the minority populations in the western regions, the problems in Hong Kong, and the coverup of spreading another pandemic across the globe.

Now everyone wants to get on board. I do not think Japan or China should hold the Olympics. If the Olympics were cancelled in China; unlike Japan, China would try to stage some faux Olympic Games then fill every event with an average citizen/former athlete awarding a gold medal in every event to a Chinese competitor then claim to be the greatest country with the greatest athletes to ever compete in the Olympics (ala trump playbook).

I don’t think the Genocide Olympics is quite the image the IOC was looking for.

Agree take them away from China.

Also agree let us all stop buying goods made in China and as a means to help us require all online sellers to specify where a product was made and in light of the genocide and other human rights abuses whether any parts were made in China so we can then all decide whether we want to be complicit in crimes against humanity.

Do it, less talk, more do.
