Praying is not confidence. It is begging for an external force to affect what you could have yourself. Japan is screwed. Show me a single day for the past three weeks that hasn't had a weather alert advising people not to engage in outdoor exercise.

How can the JOC overcome the heat and water quality issue? Does the JOC control nature so that it can cool down August heat? Can the JOC magically build up a metropolitan scale sewage treatment system in one year to make water problem go away?
The only way to overcome the heat and water quality issue is to move the Tokyo Olympics to late September and move the ocean swimming event to far away from Tokyo, not to Fukushima but way down South, how about Okinawa?
As for the food problem, all able Olympic teams should bring in all their food and water and take nothing from what the JOC provides at the Olympic village.
