If they really want to stick it to China over they should be doing the opposite. There is no better way to economically screw a country over these days than have them host an Olympics.

In all seriousness though the best solution would be to ignore the IOC and instead focus on encouraging other countries to boycott the games. Letting the CCP pay for it and then have nobody show up would be way better.

I remember that too, At the time China gave "assurances" that they would improve their position on human rights. Guess what? They lied, and now it's worse.

The 2022 Communist Olympics MUST be cancelled. There is NO debate over this.

If the crooked IOC does not now cancel the Communist sham 2022 Games, they must be boycotted. Any nation or athlete that dares attend should be mercilessly targetted by activists.

When the games are awarded to a country that has multiple travel warnings against it, and yet are "awarded" the Games! (They are games after all!) You have to wonder about the mentality of the IOC. Could it be self profit is their motivation, trampling over corpses to snatch a trickle of money? A normal human wouldn't do that? Would they?

The simplest way to stop the games is for the athlete to boycott the games and do what is right.The IOC is too corrupt since it receives funding from China.

Well, it would be very embarrassing for the CCP.

At this rate they won't be happening since this winter coming usually involves qualifying for the next year.

When the Olympic Games were started in Greece, thousands of years ago, they were specifically not supposed to be political. Even wars could be suspended during the games. IMO, those holding the games should not have to meet a prior set of rules, other than conducting a safe set of games for all participants.

And don’t forget the 2022 Asian game. it will also be held in China in the Chinese Hangzhou. Lol

Sadly will never happen, the IOC are greedy, amoral and corrupt to the core, which is a fairly good description of the CCP as well, so neither will do anything save lie to keep the gravy train rolling.

After all what’s a few million tortured corpses when there is money in brown envelopes to be garnered and you are safe in Lausanne or other safe bolt hole.

Obviously, the Beijing games will not be revoked, but I like this move, it's important to call attention to China's atrocious human rights record.
