This is disgusting & a vulgar use of 3/11 for the 2020 Olympics, mori & his gang have no morals what so ever!

How about starting the torch relay from the new home of the LAST 3/11 refugee to high light everyone ACTUALLY being taken care of!!

Instead we get this insincere BS & once again 2020 Olympics being promoted on the backs of disaster victims, FOR SHAME!!

Now that would be golden!

Instead it'll be 9 years later with so little done and where did all the money go every step of the way

As usual, I agree with GW wholeheartedly on this one- this is adding insult to injury.

I really do not get this, it's like a bully making you punch yourself in the head. Then claiming you did it? And then taking your lunch money.

I picture seating set aside for refugees, sponsored by TEPCO.

"It is important to help showcase the reconstruction to people in Japan and abroad. But I hope this will be some support to the people, who struggled so hard, to find new hope," Mori said.'

I guess it's a lot less important to showcase that fact that 50,000 are still in shelters, and that the Olympics could have paid for reconstruction a few dozen times over.

I tend to be a people person and like everyone but whenever I see Yoshiro Mori's name or comment in an article, I can't help but to cringe.

Anyway, I hope they Don't claim it's been burning since the 1964 Tokyo Olympics because the company responsible for keeping it burning accidentally let it go out for a Week before noticing.
