I cant wait for the inevitable ticket scandals!!

The only ticket I want is a one-way ticket out of Tokyo for the duration of this ludicrous money grab.

They are like your typical anime characters, very Japanese. Kids will like them, that it easy.

Alot. They're incredibly sterile and forgettable.

They are cute, like any other mascot.

They could have been much cuter. I'm not going to say which one I prefered but there were better choices.

The adults are the ones with money. We're a year out and the only place I've see the mascots is on some little pins at the Post Office. Eventually we'll see just how dismal licensing and sales will be.

I think these Olympic Games will be a failure

If they have them as scheduled July 24 - Aug 9, it's gonna be a nightmare. They should have them more like Oct. 10 - Oct. 24 like they did in the Tokyo 1964 Olympics.

athletics is the most expensive event with the highest priced tickets set at 130,000 yen.

Something is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Wish I could have 100 yen for every time I've said this.
