as usual...boxing is so corrupt and the referees can be bought for few thousands of dollars. The game should have been stopped. The opponent fell five times and was running for his life yet he won by unbelievable margin...

Japan appears to have a lock on the gold for whining at these Olympics.

I wouldn't call it whining. It's only logical to appeal decisions which look wrong, and I'm glad Japan has the backbone to raise these when they feel decisions were unjust. They are simply looking out for their athletes who have trained all their life for this event. I would expect other countries are doing the same.

And they won the appeal, Shimizu won. Case closed.
