Opening day intrigue: Ichiro keeps 'em guessing about future

I'm not guessing, he's done. You don't keep a player on the roster for what he used to be. Several races last year were decided by a playoff game, so every game is important. When the roster is finalized, Ichiro will find himself playing Left Out.

Of course he's done. He was done last year. But hell this is a nice way to go out. Only wish the games were here in Kobe, where I first saw him play with Blue Wave when we were both much younger.

Meanwhile, go O's. Last to first. Or at least winning more than 50 games this year. Hope spring eternal!

I don't know why he didn't try to play a couple seasons in Japan. Would have enjoyed seeing him in a Dragons uniform.

He keeps suckers guessing, and that's all. Everyone else moved on and stopped caring a decade ago, when he should have.
