Over 60% of Olympic volunteers worry about anti-coronavirus measures

If the weather in a year's time is anything like now, the coronavirus may be only one of several serious problems.

I'd be worried too, especially if I'm on that Hi-five committee that they had after the Rugby World Cup matches. They should probably scrap that committee. Let me explain to people who didn't attend a rugby game, but basically it was a line of 20-50 people giving hi-fives to people after the matches. No hand sanitizer, no gloves, just raw skin. I mean, I was disgusted even before Covid-19 of this Japanese effort to be cool. Crazy I tell ya.

I'm surprised it's not 100%...unless the other 40% have already been infected and are over it.

They really need a better logo than that as it resembles a virus tooo much.

Is Tokyo willing to pay the cancellation fees for any flights, trains, hotels, and otherwise when the Games get cancelled? Their intentions should be clearly stated to the volunteers. No doubt some already lost money.

I actually registered as an Olympic Volunteer, and I'm terrified to put my life on the first line just for the idea of Olympics. It's too hot, corona virus is everywhere, and they don't have transportation allowance.

I am a actually selected volunteer and just to put something that keeps coming up, there is a transportation allowance.

I took this survey and the question was simply put, are you worried, of course many people are going to be worried, but also buried in the story was that 78.5% of respondents said they will continue to serve as well.

Time to be honest. The Games Cannot Proceed. Fiscally Imprudent, Commercially Not Viable, and on the Health Topic, Just Not Do-Able.

Then, you’re whinging that it’s a waste of money.

Now, boo-hooing about Corona.

The Olympics WILL happen because there’s too much money at stake.
