Boxing is as crooked now as it was in the past. Nothing has changed.

There would have been much more of an uproar if Manny cancelled the fight before it happened. He still did pretty darn well I think.

I watched it without paying anything and I still feel cheated. But what bothers me most about that fight was when Pacman told the reporter afterward that he didn't feel the need to attack Mayweather more because he thought he was already winning. Seriously!? I would have felt better if he said something like "I was in a lot of pain from an injury I denied having during the pre-fight check"

What a gyp! Everyone out for the "almighty" dollar.

If you feel cheated then blame it on the judges allowing Mayweather to run backwards for twelve rounds, even though injured, Manny took the fight to Mayweather, he fought. Mayweather ran, held and did not.

I watched for price of a beer at a local sports bar and did not have the impression that Pacman was one-armed. I felt more cheated by the judges. Mayweather, the supposed defense genius, basically ran away for 12 rounds, and the judges gave him a win on points. Wth??

I didn't see the fight, but I surely heard about it.. 18 punches by Pacman for the whole 12 rounds. I know the Big Ballers and Shoot Callers are pissed !

There's no guarantee the fight would still have happened if it had been postponed for a year to let Pacquiao have surgery and 9 to 12 months recovery. Mayweather is 2 years older than Pacquiao and plans to retire this year - he may not feel fighting again a year from now, particularly a physically-questionable post-surgery Pacquiao (and thus a smaller purse on the table for Mayweather to earn).

Only 18 jabs in 12 rounds, but you think he should have won?

I've said it before and I'll say it again... I'm amazed this country hasn't banned this "sport" yet because the only goal is to cause a concussion big enough to force the opponent into unconsciousness. It's such a prime goal that not only do they have "KO's", they have "TKO's".

It's funny hearing obvious novice to boxing complain that Mayweather ran for 12 rounds! How can you run for twelve rounds and still have higher output with more power jabs and power punches. Especially against a fighter who suppose to be a high volume striker. It is called boxing not brawling! The object is to hit your opponent while not getting hit. Floyd is boxer, so he boxes. Manny is brawler which why he gets knocked out sometime. Simple fact of the matter is........Manny was schooled.

I understand why some people would hate Mayweather. He is a cocky guy, sometimes a bit of an agitator, but as a fighter, you have to be nuts to think that he didn't give Pacquiao a beat down. He lost, Mayweather was a better fighter, pure and simple, anyone disputes that obvious fact, needs to deal with the harsh reality.

Boring fight. Should be rematch. Aggressor should get points. If Pacquiao stood in the middle of the ring there would have been nothing going on. The fight was a dud.

Gennady Golovkin and Mayweather is the only fight worth watching.

There's a joke going around:

"Mayweather remains undefeated, but why everybody keeps saying he's 48-0?!

He's actually 53-0! When ya count the 5 women he beat up!"

"The people who paid $99.95 to watch at home had no clue."

"Neither did those spending $40,000 or more for a ringside seat Saturday night in Las Vegas."

This cannot be denied, ha ha!

"I watched it without paying anything and I still feel cheated."

Har!

About all of large restaurants has many overhead TVs to let guests could win while eating. Also casinos sport betting areas. We just eat and either watch or ignore games. Unless you went MGM, you did not have to pay $ 10. If you join a person who was invited to ringside, wear throw away type T shirt. Often blood splash to you. Vegas temp has been high and if you dress up nice, you will be mistaken as a sacker by MGM hospitality specialists and after game, you will be ushered to high roller table game area in MGM.

An OK will almost always lose to a boxer in a boxing match. An a brawler fought and lost to one of the best defensive counterpunches of all time. It would have been the same 5 years ago! Every knowledgeable person in the business knew Manny was going to lose and publicly stated the fact. The only people who supported Manny were people who simply don't like Floyd. Floyd knows this and it is the reason why he gets big pay per view numbers because people pay hoping to see him lose. It would have been foolish for anyone to believe that Floyd would go against a famous opponent and not use his defensive counterpunching skills. The same skills that has made him the highest paid boxer ever and an undefeated professional boxer for 19+ years! He did what he was suppose to do that night. He came prepared and fought his gameplan!

The fault is all on Manny and his team! They're the ones who tricked the media into to believing he was going to knock Floyd out. They were the one telling the media that they figured out the Mayweather puzzle, Floyd was getting slow, Floyd can't handle southpaws, and GOD was on Manny's side. Manny was never prepared for Floyd's speed or intelligence. If you watch carefully Manny started gassing out after the sixth round! LOL!

No matter how you look at this situation after the fight, it makes Manny and his team look bad. If he was really hurt then it seems he was only after a payday! His handlers have been in the biz for decades. They know how the injury procedures work. If he is lying then it appears he is a sore loser making excuses. Honestly, he should have just said it was God's plan or something and then just walked away!

I only paid $10.00 cover and bought a couple of beers to watch it at a local sports bar. But even I feel cheated. Can't imagine what folks who spent thousands to go to Vegas to watch the fight, and/or bet on it, must be feeling.
