Olympics, is a real life changer!

The money is going to change his life and not all good, either. He and his family will have to leave their village for their security, because there will be kidnapping and ransom probabilities on his life and that of his family because the country is so poor, and that amount of money is huge over there.

Congratulations on his win, and many prayers he and his family remain safe.

Money well spent!

In the happiness of millions of people in Pakistan, and well below the money taken by politicians.

This is probably before tax, by the time he pays his income tax, his coach, his lawyer, his doctor, members of his support team he will be lucky if he gets half IF he is lucky.

Oh I forgot he probably has to bribe the bank to deposit that sum and keep it. and I am not joking.

1 rupee from each Pakistani, besting the Silver medalist from India, and a day before Pakistan's independence day, a great success story well befitting even an postage stamp commemorating his accomplishment. Next stop - a world record. Hurray!!!

His father in law gifted him a buffalo.

Indians are unhappy that Pakistan with its lone gold medal is above India with its 6 medals in the Olympics table. But a country of 1.4 billion won only 6 medals so those are not the right reasons to be unhappy about.

I hope Arshad Nadeem will be motivated to do even better next time. Great to see Pakistan government acknowledging his achievement.
