Agree 100%. I don't know why they are trying to call them "cars"... insted of Helicopters or drones

a mode of transport created for the ultra-rich in a hurry because there's only one space for a passenger.

Bingo, there it is. And that is why it wont ever "take off" and become viable. Not enough ultra rich to make a huge profit from.

The only way this ever works is as a mass transport system affordable for all (or most) as Ubers are now. A two tier system may even drive down prices for ground based taxi's.

Any accidents will be plastered in the media and the first recorded death from this form of travel will reach global news everywhere.
