Cancel it and bill china.

Yeah it's not going to happen, may as well start now giving out the Athletes Village Apartments to the homeless

Actually, the headline can't possibly be true. Last time they were not the "postponed Olympics", they were just the Olympics, so this is the first time for the post-poned Olympics, second time for just the Olympics.

The 2020 Olympics being held in 2021....wait a minute no one is coming. And it's Gold again for Japan gold, gold, gold. Here is an old man dressed as Mario celebrating Japans hord of gold medals.

WHO now predict a vaccine won't be available until 2021, if they can be believed after their initial track record on Covid-19. That's cutting it very fine.

The Olympics are 100% factually going to run next year without a doubt

@Cosmos1
The Olympics will run next year stop being stupid

Never gonna happen.
What?! Why should they get a free ride off the back of the taxpayer? Much more deserving people should get priority.

Its possible they will happen and I hope they do, but it seems less and less likely with each passing day.
One thing that is certain is that even if they do happen it will be a pyrrhic victory from Japan’s perspective. The main benefit was to be the associated tourist boom, which obviously won’t happen. All these billions of dollars in TV revenue they are talking about rescuing is money for the IOC, Japan doesn’t get a dime of that.

Forget the homeless for now, put the Covid-19 patients in them, since they are running out of hospital beds.

It just will not be possable to operate The Games Safely.
Realise this fact and deal with it.

Even if there is a vaccine? Why not?

This is ridiculous. The virus from China saved the 2020 Olympics from being held during the peak heat period, and they're just going to make the same mistake and hold them during the peak heat period next year.
