They will not be counting trophies yet, least of all City, who began last season with five wins in a row, only to finish fourth which cost manager Manuel Pellegrini his job.
Actually that's not correct. City announced that Guardiola would be taking over the next year when the season was only halfway through. So even if Pellegrini had won every trophy on offer he still would have gone.
I watched Man City this morning. The first half was reminiscent of watch Barcelona at their best. Second half was a different story but I still think that they will win the Manchester derby in two weeks. And the elbow from Aguero must mean that he will miss the next three matches.

3 games in? Big news.

The battle of the wallets is back on after a freak season. Did anyone really expect anything different?

Kante already feeling at home. Well worth the £30m Chelsea coughed up.

Unless the European leagues introduce a salary cap, like they have in Australian & American sports, the same old teams with the most money will continue to dominate their respective leagues. Of course this will never happen.
