Fighto!
Wise decision!
With the incomparable Ohtani, Yamamoto and now Sasaki, the Dodgers will be very, very hard to stop from doing the double in the World Series this season.

Add to that trio two-time Cy Young winner Blake Snell and Tyler Glasnow, who will be back from injury, and you’re potentially looking at one of the best rotations in recent history.

This was a farce and everyone from Japan to Jupiter knew where he was going: to the new Evil Empire. The sham of so-called bargaining with other teams that was allowed a front and was disgraceful. His agent stated it clearly and then tried to cover it up later

Sasaki will need to get in shape so he can play a full season.
I hope he learns a lot from his great seniors, Ohtani, Yamamoto, and Glasnow.

We might start calling them the Tokyo Dodgers!
Agree. Fighto consistently downplays the contributions of the non-Japanese team members.
During the World Series, MVP Freddie Freeman didn’t even exist in his universe. He never once recognized Freeman’s amazing efforts, which contributed more than any other player to the Dodgers victory — exactly why Freeman was voted World Series MVP (angering Fighto and his multiple monikers).
Baseball is a team sport, which is why one of the best players ever — i.e., Ichiro Suzuki — doesn’t have a World Series title.

Blake Snell, Tyler Glasnow, Ohtani, Yamamoto, Sasaki and perhaps Kershaw. OMG, are you kidding me??

Exactly! And even though the Dodgers were loaded with stars last season, they’re becoming more well-rounded this season by adding so much pitching depth. It’ll be interesting to see how everything plays out this season in the NL West.

Hard to see anyone other than the Padres challenging LA. Bookmakers currently have the Dodgers at about 80% to win the division.

Unbelievable excitement

Really wanted to see a Yamamoto-san/Ohtani-san versus Sasaki-san matchup for years to come . . . .
