Sounds like a good fit. The Reds have been atrocious in recent years while Goromaru was a real star at the World Cup. Following on from what I said yesterday, I wonder if we will see an exodus of Japanese players to other Super Rugby teams due to the administration gridlock that seems to be prevalent at the JFRU? Moreover, Goromaru playing for the Reds will mean that he won't get much exposure up here next (with for some stupid reason the Japanese team being in the other conference).
Whatever the case, I wish him the best of luck despite being a proud supporter of the Brumbies.

Great news! The standard Goromaru will be playing at - should he make the first team - will absolutely lift his game, and that of the Brave Blossoms. I reckon he will become a cult figure up there in Brisbane!
Being nitpicky, shouldn't that be the team called Sunwolves he may play against? I believe they are based in Japan and Singapore for home games.

good luck and good for him. hopefully he won't be found out in the grind of super rugby

The Reds needed a good goalkicker and Goromaru is certainly that.
As others have noted though, the grind of the Super Rugby season is something he will need to overcome.

Good news! Hopefully J Sports will now start to play some live Super Rugby games, preferably the tahs. Also Super Rugby should open up more foreign places..

Incorrect. The French Top 14 is where all the money is & the greats go there to retire. It is not a higher level of rugby... how can you claim that? You don't see world cup winning sides being selected out of the Top 14. World cup winning sides come from Super Rugby... NZ, Australia & South Africa.
