Good article thanks JT for putting it up. But since when is England a dominant player and Ireland isn't? Written by a POM I suspect.

calm down aussie and NZ used to have teams play in the pacific nations, but recently they seemed to have not bothered. NZ used to run the Junior all blacks in that comp and aussie ran an Australia B team.

Spudman yes i agree wondered why england were even mentioned as dominant, maybe against the other northern teams they sometimes can be but certianly not against the other 3 they are'nt.

Good article all the same.

Spudman, "But since when is England a dominant player and Ireland isn't? Written by a POM I suspect"

The article didnt say Ireland isnt a dominant player per se. It does indicate all the dominant teams mentioned in the article, including England, are more dominant though. :)
