Absolutely awesome that both Merseyside clubs have such legendary managers.

UK football is awesome.

While it is too early to proclaim Ancelotti's squad as the equals of Everton's 1980s icons

It shouldn’t even be mentioned.

That side won an FA Cup, reached 3 FA Cup finals on the run, won two league titles finishing runners-up once, and won a European Cup Winners Cup in the space of 4 years. Without the European ban, they very possibly could have won the European cup.

This side has made a very good start to a season based on just 4 games.

Irritating nonsense.

Free scoring Everton against one of the best attacking teams in the world, it should be a goal fest.

I'm going for 0-0

Colombian James Rodriguez is a fine reader of the game. He remains positive, creative and constructive. His passes are a delight to watch. He can dismantle rival defenses with ease and style. James is injecting flair and beauty to Ancelotti's campaign. All his relentless labor on the pitch comes across more as a piece of continuous art. May he go on and on. All the best.

It was a draw. VAR destroyed the beauty of football. You don't even know if a goal is a goal until those dumbass VAR check. What's the point??
