I was a contracted worker myself in Qatar for one year. I worked with guys from Nepal and the Philippines that told me they lived in large rooms, with lots of other people (not private rooms) and basically no place they could be by themselves.

I also saw a video of a guy that was in a car wreck (no visible damage to his vehicle, but HIS was the one that was hit) and the Qatari local was beating him in the middle of the road. If you are caught RECORDING video like this, YOU can be DEPORTED.

When you consider the obscene amounts of money in the game, it wouldn’t be a stretch for the game to give some of it back to the workers who make the Cup possible.

People should boycott the Middle East. It is all built on slave style labour.
