It's worth a try, Rod. Just hope you don't end up imprisoned, too, on some trumped-up charge like "being a freak of nature."

Rodman's interview with CNN in Singapore (Dennis Rodman gets emotional after Trump-Kim summit.) was priceless, dont even know how they kept that on air with so many inconvenient truths.

This will be no slam dunk

Hey if he can pull it off, worth a try. Anything to get her out of there. Russian negotiators are surprisingly tougher then North Koreans. You might end up dead just talking to Russians.

The same people who are supporting Rodman this time were calling him a freak and weirdo during Trump's presidency for going to NK. Go figure!

Try to be positive. We have enough negative. Give it a try Rodman!

I can't help but think that Rodman is seriously over-estimating his own celebrity status here. He got a bit lucky with his visits to North Korea because Kim happens to be a basketball fan, which I don't think Putin is.

If I were Russia, I'd just arrest Rodman when he entered the country and use him as bait to try to lure someone higher up the celebrity food chain to, in turn, go and rescue him. Maybe a Kardashian or someone in their entourage.

Enormous waste of time and effort for someone who brought drugs that are illegal in Russia to Russia.

Hope he makes sure not to take along anything that might get him ensnared and sitting along side Ms. Brittney Griner in a Russian jail cell. Better off leaving these things to the experts especially considering the current volatile environment between the two nations.

Didn’t he go visit Rocket Boy too?

Rod is a cool guy. He used to have a sprawling house at the end of Newport Peninsula in California to which he'd welcome pretty much anyone who dared visit. I went once with a friend; there were a few other people there on the patio drinking beer that Rod had provided; he mostly made himself scarce inside, but I did have a chance to thank him for the Tecate.

I just have to laugh at people who feel sorry for her. If it was just a regular person, nobody would care. Most would say that it's their own fault for bringing in illegal drugs.

But she's a.....WNBA 'superstar' who said she's better than NBA player Demarcus Cousins. LOL! She's 6'9" but has trouble dunking in a....demonstration with nobody guarding her.

Well, sometimes when dealing with crazy, crazier works.

Misguided as he may be, at least he’s doing something.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

I wonder if he’s going to do something to help the thousands of people in jails in the US for marijuana?

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Thousands of people who can’t dribble a ball are in prison in the USA for the same thing or less.

She should have sourced it inside Russia.

Good luck to Dennis. (Maybe he’ll meet Putin’s pal Steven Seagal there.)

So i your theory that she should not be helped because the USA is also doing this horrible thing to its people?

I mean, I'd take that to mean the US should ALSO help its own people. But I'm not a world-fearing Republican, who prefers to punish rather than help...

So i your theory that she should not be helped because the USA is also doing this horrible thing to its people?

Correct. people who didn’t disparage our country and who we can just release without trading killers can come first.

why would she not be punished when everyone else who did the same was and is?

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

She has overtly voiced and shown her disdain for the US, but now she wants special treatment from the US. Get the others in the US out of prison first.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

I wonder why Rodman hasn't gone over to secure the release of other, non celebrity. people who have been locked up over there much longer than Ms I Hate America?! I guess if you are a gay, America hating, sports figure that only recognition is you throw a ball through a hoop then you are entitled to special treatment. Leave her to do her 9 years and she should be happy since she won't have to listen to the Star Spangled Banner !!

2 ( +3 / -1 )

So because she gets paid millions she wants to be exempt from abiding by laws of another country? Makes a ton of sense.

I always just thought that was an urban legend. Some missed opportunities. Lol
