NOOOOO, It can't be!!
Fighto!
The fact is Ronaldo is well off the pace these days of being a top notch player in the EPL. The amazing skills are still there but he doesnt get picked because he is a yard or two slower than he was in his prime. No shame in that. He should accept it, enjoy his WC swansong and spend a year at his boyhood club in Portugal before retirement.

He should’ve stayed in Madrid, that was his biggest mistake; he could’ve won ( at least (!) ) one more golden ball and one or two champions league; he wasted his final years in Turin (he was still in his prime) and now Man Utd is “ finishing the job “: burning one of the best football players of all time isn’t funny (!)
smh

He's been forced out by himself now.

At 37 time to retire.
Coulda been
After a stellar career, it is disappointing that he has now become a petulant 37 y.o. Great sportspeople know when their time is up and leave gracefully (eg Federer), but not Ronaldo. His leg speed has disappeared so now it is time to walk away.

I’m sure we’d accept him at Palace on loan, he’d get more gameplay, not that it would ever happen of course

Petulant and spoilt brat come to mind.
They are paying him about 70,000-a-day and he is complaining, lol.
First world problems if there were ever any.

Ronaldo ranks amongst the best, if not at one time or another the greatest.
YouTube pays homage to his skills as a footballer, hundreds of hours.
A test of character, loyalty is a player of that calibre, influence, refrains from criticizing or carrying out a agenda in public, the media.
Ronaldo is a disrespectful fool.

United have been rotten for the last decade. Top manager like Mourinho got disrespected, long committed players like Lingard, Henderson, Pogba, Smalling got smashed or even Club Legends like Ole, Cristiano got mistreated. This explains why United have 0 title in 10 years. Karma is real.

When one, two people talk about one issue, it may be misunderstanding but when top managers, world class players and now even club legends raise same message, the club itself is the problem. A decade of disgrace. Gone glory, gone power and now broken bond with its Legends. United is truly finished under Glazers and Ten Hag.

He should move to Japan, join a team in the J-league, and then he can play competitively until he's 60

They're doing reasonably well this season under both of the above, as much as it pains me to admit. They seem to be getting stronger game by game. The Glazers for all their mediocrity have sunk a lot of money into the club and all of the managers that they hired. Nobody has spent more than them.
What is clear is that Ronaldo isn't part of Ten Hag's first XI whilst he is acting like a kid. I can't see him playing for them again after this.

Petulato is not happy? Perhaps he can give up his paycheque then?

On their day, they are all match-winners and game-changers. Ronaldo, Messi, Lewandowski, Sadio Mané, Neymar, Mbappé, Benzema, Kane, Mitrovic, and KDB look set to mesmerize football fans at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
