That's the 'problem' with one-sport fans, they're either miserable & quiet or ecstatic & co**y. On the w-e 17yo kiwi Alice Robinson won her first giant slalom, beating shiffrin, worley and other us/euro girls, which is imo a much bigger achievement than winning a rugby comp when you're a kiwi.
NZ (& other) rugby fans should take their blinkers off and look around sometimes. Plenty of sports, activities etc to enjoy.

Not sure why you got downvoted, goldorak. Arguable whether winning the gs is a bigger deal or not but completely true otherwise. Plenty of things to still be happy about. Most kiwis have moved on already, all blacks beaten by the much better side on the day and not one thing can change that... and for most of us, as disappointing a loss as it was, the all blacks are still the same team we support and always will. Tomorrow is another day. I’m actually quite happy they get to play against Wales on Friday too. They’ll have played against the top four opposition teams in the world after the cup is over and that doesn’t happen often.
It doesn’t hurt to lose once in a while either.

Completely agree, haaa.
The point i was trying to make is that NZ's bigger than rugby and that nz rugby itself is bigger than the AB. I and many other rugby fans -kiwi or not- love nz rugby, domestic, SR etc and that wont change (nz are still the benchmark, obviously).
Nothing beats a SR kiwi derby on a friday arvo to kick-off the w-e, not even a rwc final.
