Leave earlier to arrive at your destination like millions of other commuters do every day to get to work on time. They couldn't have left before 5 o'clock?

Serves them right for being stupid enough to stay at a hotel 1 hours drive from the stadium. On a Friday night. In Tokyo....

Lets just face it... No matter what is said and done, next year is gonna be complete commuter chaos on top of spectators and athletes dropping like flies from the heat.

Tad late in the day? They were awarded the games how many years ago?

So Atherletes get a taste of a normal day that everyone else gets every day. An idea! Fix the road system. Get actual trained foreign urban planners to sort it out. Now that would be a win for everyone living anywhere near Tokyo.

"We have to provide an efficient transport system for athletes," Hashimoto said.

What about the rest of us peasants?

Yup. It's gonna be a real sweatshow.

Right? Just pure incompetence. Should have kicked off without them, let Russia run in a dozen tries, 'Meaning Of Life' style.

Round abouts??

I hope not, they made a round about near my place with three 止まれ signs now it’s a golden mine for police to ticket people.

Must be addressed immediately? Bwahaha! They’ve had five years to sort this out. All they have done is waste millions of dollars on meetings with “uhum” experts who have failed to come up with any practical solution. Their only solution so far is to increase highway tolls during peak hours, which would be great if all the stadiums were in the highways. However, they have only forced more drivers into the already clogged local roads which will create even more delays. These jokers couldn’t manage sex in Kabukicho with ¥100,000!

They didn’t arrive late. They arrived later than expected. The game kicked off on time.
