They can all have a run out at various points. It's a squad game nowadays anyway.

People complain about the kicking but the England backs lack pace. Stewart was ran down by a lock against Japan! They could go for a running game against Chile and win by 40 points but they could stick to the kicking and do the same. Their best bet against the "real" teams is sadly booting the ball down field or into touch and hoping for errors.

England's approach is working for them, so far.

On their side of the draw, they have a fair chance of reaching the semi-finals.

The other side of the draw has France, Ireland, SA and NZ fighting their way through, ending up in losses through injury, red cards, fatigue.

At that stage, England's conservative game could prove useful.

A very interesting Cup, indeed.
