Well done France - strong start to the competition.

That result is unbelievable. France is not known for playing Rugby and it is the only sport New Zealand focuses on. There will be rioting in New Zealand today for sure.

Hats off to Les Bleus! Clearly outplayed NZ on the night. Pencil them in as favorites to hoist that Cup, and become just the most second European team to do so. Plenty of rugby to come though.

Have the All Blacks lost their aura? We will see in the next few games...

Yes, it is.

Rugby and it is the only sport New Zealand focuses on

No, it isn’t.

NZ have lost numerous "unloseable" finals in the WC in the past. None more infamous than '95.

There's never been any rioting. They don't do riots in NZ.

I am assuming this was a joke post.

After seeing that arrogant clip from John Kirwan on ITV before the game started, I was even more glad that France won

Not a rugby fan then?

Good to get this game out of the way early doors so that both France and the All Blacks can get on with seeing the rest off. Fancy South Africa meself.

Love to see the All Blacks lose. Doesn't happen often so that makes it all the more enjoyable.

France were a level above but if I were a Springbok fan, I would be very confident of going to at least the final.

I must say I did enjoy both audio channels on the NHK broadcast in Japanese. (roll eyes)
