That's why it says "arguably." Not one rugby player in the world will get everybody voting for them as the best. I would say he may not be the best player, but he is the best in his position now and has been for a very long time.

To be fair, I always worry when we play finals, just only seem to just get through, I hope its a great game, and of course I hope NZ comes out on top :-)

2003 Final 20-17, 2007 Final 15-9, 2011 Final 8-7. Close, pressure matches. The bookies get these games right however, so I'm following the betting odds - NZ to win.

not sure it is ideal final. ideal would be a North vs South one. Or a big outsider like the Pumas in there.

I keep on remembering the statement that the capitan of the winning America,s Cup said to a reporter asking him, "how does he feel that he needs to win the next 9 races in a row to win the Cup". His reply was a classic. He stated that, While driving here he was thinking about the same question. THen my mind turn it around and I was thinking "how bad it would be for the NZ capitan and crew if they lost it from here". And what happen. There's a good case for him to be voted the greatest. He is the best in his position, which is one of the most demanding positions out there in terms of physicality. His longevity in that position at the very highest levels is absolutely incredible - no one comes close. His leadership, drive and determination is a big reason why the All Blacks are currently so good.
